CalEssence® precipitated calcium carbonates (PCCs) are a family of six enhanced purity, ultra-low-lead calcium carbonates developed specifically for manufacturers who need to meet the lead requirements of California Proposition 65. Specialty Minerals Inc. (SMI) CalEssence® PCC products range in particle size from 0.7 microns up to 12.0 microns, and come in several different shapes.
