Specialty Minerals Plastics Publications: PVC Impact Strength, Flexural Modulus, and Fillers

These are publications from the Research & Development Laboratories of Specialty Minerals Inc. (SMI) that discuss themes involved in the use or performance of SMI fine and nano ultrafine precipitated calcium carbonates (PCCs) used to improve impact strength and to replace impact modifiers in rigid and flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products, as well as ultrafine talcs to increase the flexural modulus of rigid PVC.
